Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Area Support (Custodial / Environmental Services) for our NorAm Universities segment. This is a virtual position, National in scope (includes Canada), with the ideal candidate preferably based in the East Coast, but open to anywhere in the Continental US.


Position Summary:

We are seeking a diversified Facilities Manager to support all Universities Segment Initiatives related to the Soft Services Framework (SSF) implementations.  This position will be viewed as the Subject Matter Expert for the Segment providing support to our dynamic growth efforts regarding all Soft Services in NorAm Universities. Initial focus will be on the implementation of our SSF Strategy and tools in existing accounts with expansion to the implementation of new services as developed by Service Operations and introduced to the segment.

In this capacity, the position will be a direct liaison with Service Operations in the SSF process and Site Management. This is a key contributor role that will require project management skills and the ability to be a strong self-starter and initiative to help develop the knowledge, skills and abilities across the segment in addition to all implementation activities.


Additional requirements:

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management experience in soft services (custodial, grounds, etc.) as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
  • Strong Project management skills and experience;
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation and training skills;
  • Requires up to 70% travel.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 5 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in related field
