Sodexo has an exciting career opportunity for a Sodexo Future Leaders Intern - Food at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. This 850-bed acute care hospital is located in Houston, Texas. Sodexo provides best in class food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations, onsite catering and physicians dining. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about wellness and nutrition and who is looking to gain exposure in roles that could lead to a variety of food service career tracks. The Future Leaders Intern will be guided by a strong leadership team which oversees our At Your Request-Room Service Dining® patient meal delivery program in addition to supporting retail operations, catering and aspects of the culinary operation.
The ideal candidate has experience working directly with patients and is knowledgeable about nutrition in a healthcare environment. Prior management experience delivering innovative solutions for the customer experience is a plus. Must be hands on, organized, and have demonstrated experience providing strong leadership to frontline staff and managing multiple priorities in a healthcare environment. High level of computer literacy, HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification go hand in hand for this position.
Basic Education Requirement - Current college student with studies in hospitality/food management, facilities management, engineering, communications, human resources, accounting, marketing or another industry related college program.
