Sodexo Corporate Services has a new opening for a General Manager 3 at a brand new location/new build out in the Carrollton, Texas area opening in January of 2019. Services offered at this location will include Retail dining, Catering, Micro-market and Coffee Bar. In addition to demonstrated management experience, we are also looking for someone with strong health and wellness background as it is related to food. Must also be up to current trend with technology, apps, self pay POS systems and comfortable with multiple computer programs.

 

This role will assist in managing 15 - 17 staff and excellent team building experience is a must as well as being strong in client facing situations, and influencing and negotiating skills. You must be great with people!

 

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • develop strategic plans;
  • create a positive environment; and
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has experience with health and wellness initiatives and experience collaborating with a food committee
  • ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
