Sodexo, world leader in quality of life services, has a new opening for a Payroll Systems Specialist at our office in Cheektowaga, NY.
The Payroll Specialist will support mutiple functions within the Sodexo Payroll Service Center, including pay transactions, customer service and program administration.
The Payroll Specialist also performs weekly reconciliation and receivable collections, and acts as a resource for Banking and Accounting areas/functions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Payroll certification; FPC or CPP preferred.
- Multi state payroll experience is strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll production;
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills;
- The ability to work in a detailed and time sensitive fast paced environment;
- Experience meeting multiple deadlines.
- Strong payroll accounting/banking experience preferred;
- Customer service experience preferred;
- Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills;
- Multi-lingual helpful, not required.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years related experience in payroll administration and/or table maintenance. In the absence of an AA degree, 4 years of relevant experience
