Sodexo is looking for a Chef Manager in White Plains, NY


Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is a 150 bed accredited physical rehabilitation hospital situated on a 60 acre campus in White Plains, New York. in White Plains, NY. As the Chef Manager you will need to supervise cooks and other team members(10-15), in a non-union setting, to deliver high quality products and services to our patients and customers. Catering skills a must. Hours for this position are 8am-6pm with some nights and weekends. 


As the Chef Manager for this location your primary focus will be on production and providing quality food and catering to our clients. Each property in the GE portfolio operates very much the same and this candidate will have a lot of support from the other locations, even if they are not in their area.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

  • Managing the daily food production including production planning and controls
  • Ensuring Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • Managing food cost controls and compliance
  • Development the menus and managing inventory

Candidates must also have:

  • Solid decision-making skills and ability to solve problems
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of HACCP

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
