Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Chef Manager for Bristol-Myers Squibb located in East Syracuse, NY.  This location has a MV of 250K and a building population of 100.  The food operation consist of a cafe and catering operations. 

 

The Chef Manager will conduct daily financial activities such as cash handling, A/P, and culinary.  The  Chef Manager finalizes the weeks financials in UFS.  Other Duties include: Open/close unit on a daily basis, complete daily ordering, monthly inventory, monthly safety audits, ensuring compliance and HAACP procedures, maintaining high culinary retail standards for the operation, and supervision of 2 hourly employees.    

 

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year lead culinary experience, a strong working knowledge of food safety & sanitation guidelines, prior experience managing an hourly production staff as well as excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.  Prior culinary management experience in corporate dining would be a plus for this role.

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
