Sodexo, world leader in quality of life services, has a new opening for a Staff Accountant in the Convenience Solutions department at our Financial Service Center in Cheektowaga, NY. Candidates who have any type of vending route sales or vending machine sales or reporting etc. experience in their background are encouraged to apply.
What Will You Do In This role?
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of sub-contracted micro market sales, commissions and fee reporting. Investigate and resolve issues.
- Analyze and resolve assigned general ledger accounts. Set analysis standards and provide guidance to Convenience Solutions Accounting staff to resolve general ledger issues.
- Create and Distribute routine and ad hoc financial reports capturing activity from Vending and Micro Market activity for internal customers.
- Partner with finance and Vending operations in collection efforts for outstanding receivables.
- Interpret and implement agreed upon contractual terms and standard accounting treatment standards.
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation: i.e., Administration and Finance Topics, work instructions and departmental desk procedures.
- Communicate with all levels of the organization
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
