Sodexo Universities segment is seeking an exceptional Operations Support Manager to serve as Stadium Guest Experience Manager to round out our outstanding management team at the arena at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. The Operations Support Manager will laisse between the athletic director and stadium athletic director, drive sales, coordinate ticket sales, parking and event day management for Fan Experience, and is responsible for leading the execution of exceptional business standards with regard to guest experience, operations, talent development and financial performance.
Managing a staff of as many as 2 salaried managers and 50 hourly employees, this manager will oversee an innovative stadium for a very high end, high profile client. You will be involved in Pre-game/event as well as post game/event planning as well as the overall fan experience/vision.
The successful candidate will work with a strong management team to deliver high quality food service operations at all venues.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Large Campus/University Stadium/Arena operations experience - overseeing guest satisfaction and ensuring fan experience;
- Commitment to providing stellar customer service – even at “peak rush” times, attention to detail, ability to delegate;
- Experience mentoring and developing a talented and diverse staff, including scheduling and labor management of employees;
- Solid financial background and acumen.

New Mexico State University is located in the beautiful Organ Mountain Range of Las Cruces New Mexico, just a short 30 minute drive from White Sands National Park. El Paso Texas is 45 minutes to the east while Albuquerque NM is a short 3 hour drive to the north Sodexo provides Concessions, Suites, Club and Banquet Catering as well as Expanded Services at the various athletic venues on campus
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in operations
