Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Housekeeping Senior Area General Manager for the Jefferson Health System, located in Washington Township, New Jersey, that operates a network of hospitals. The Jefferson Health system are located in Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford, New Jersey. This position will have 2 General Managers at various locations, reporting to them. This position will be the single point of contact overseeing the Health System. The ideal candidate for this position will have outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), this position is responsible for (but not limited to) the entire departments. Responsibility for all financial, budget preparation, benchmark development, employee training programs, hiring and training of all managers. Candidates must be able to analyze and interpret financial data, be highly experienced in client relations, be able to manage for results, and be able to develop and implement strategic plans that lead to positive outcomes . This position will also be responsible for building strong relationships throughout the facility with hospital senior leaders, department heads, nursing management and environmental services staff. This is a 1st shift position. This position will report directly to a District Manager. Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
