Sodexo is seeking an Area Executive Chef in a Operations Support position for Schools dining accounts in South Carolina.

This is a remote position located in the Charlotte, NC market, Position will support the following states: TN, SC, NC, MI, IN, MO, GA and any new markets within the region. 

 

The idea candidate will be an experienced Executive Chef well versed in culinary, operational leadership, and enjoys training front-line staff in all aspects of culinary and food service operations.  This position will travel and support multiple accounts within South Carolina.

 

The Area Executive Chef will provide support several accounts in Southeast.  This key manager will work to lead the culinary team with an emphasis in: Resident Dining / Board Operations, retail and catering. The Area Executive Chef must demonstrate and have a true passion for hands-on training, production execution and ensuring that all Sodexo culinary standards are met.

The ideal candidate must have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.  Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.  The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.  Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.  Can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS), DRIVE, Market Connection and Kronos / Labor Management Systems.


Qualifications for the Executive Chef include prior culinary management experience in a high volume environments, strong food production planning management and food cost management experience, computer literacy, full HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification. Flexible shifts to include 85% travel

 

 

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
