Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager 2 to join our food services team at Alcorn State University located in Lorman, Missisippi.
Alcorn State University is a land grant HBCU campus with an enrollment of 3500 students. Sodexo provides resident dining, retail, catering, and concessions on campus with a total managed volume of $7 million annually.
The Retail Manager will oversee 4 locations with an annual revenue volume of $3M, maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food service environment. This position assists in the maintenance of cash control, payroll records, inventory, structured employee development and food cost control. We are seeking an innovative leader with 2 plus years management experience to direct a diverse work force and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role will also assist in management of catering events.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- College/University high-volume retail food service management experience.
- Experience training and directing a talented and diverse staff
- Strong financial acumen, P & L experience and managing budgets.
- Experience managing multiple food retail outlets and national brand concepts.
- Innovation and ability to grow revenue and manage cost.
- Customer driven and strong track record in organizational development.
- Superior client relations skills and executive presence.
