Sodexo is seeking a skilled Executive Chef at the Mayowood mansion, at the Mayo clinic. This historic home is part museum, and part high level event center. The successful candidate will have a background in white table cloth dining with a very high level of service. Success of the chef will also depend on their ability to create distinctive, one of a kind menus, tapping into culinary trends; as well as a grounded classical base. The opportunity has the ability to be great. The Chef can create and design menus and develop high level menu designs for VIP catering events.

Are you the experienced Executive Chef we’re seeking?
We are looking for candidates who can:
- implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction
- monitor food operations and ensure that the culinary program is excelling
- interact with staff and patients as well as the nursing staff
- perform food safety audits and train staff on food safety and excellent quality.
- perform some HR functions and direct supervision of hourly associates
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
- Previous experience working in a high volume facility
- Strong food service management skills, preferably in health care environment
- Have excellent culinary skills and understand systems management

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
