We are looking for a dynamic, experienced self-starter to join Sodexo at Sinai Grace as an Environmental Services/Operation Manager for the Detroit area. This is an acute care, union facility covering 400 beds at this facility that is located in the heart of Detroit, MI and is part of Tenet Health Systems. An individual with a history of driving excellent operational results desired. This is primarily an evening shift position (start time of 2:30pm), working some weekends and holidays. Looking for a "Difference Maker" to overall impact our patient satisfaction scores, employee engagement, and a passion for training. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of 45 front line Sodexo employees while maintaining a strong client relationship with the hospital. Preferred candidates will be have excellent customer service skills and previous housekeeping experience. This manager will place a large focus on the patient experience, customer service, and positively affecting patient satisfaction scores.

-creating strategic action plans for work areas & project planning
-strong computer skills to include: teletracking, email, & MS Office
--hospital experience a plus

Previous experience in custodial and housekeeping in hotels, corporate facilities, or healthcare environmental Services departments is desired. Position requires knowledge of Infection Prevention. Experience in supervising a diverse employee, union population while providing excellent customer service is key to this role. Preferred candidates will be have excellent customer service skills. This manager will place a large focus on the patient experience, customer service, and positively affecting patient satisfaction scores. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and will cover two locations for the account. Looking for an individual with healthcare management experience in the support service arena with a passion for environmental services.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
