Sodexo is hiring an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 for Central Maine Medical Center at the Main Campusover a million square feet of cleanable healthcare space. The 200 bed hospital is located in Lewiston, Maine. As Central Maine Medical Center continues expanding its medical services, its mission remains unchanged: providing the best possible healthcare to the region's residents.

 

CMMC's longtime effort to establish itself as a major medical center offering a comprehensive array of the highest level healthcare services began to take a more tangible form when the hospital opened the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute in the spring of 2003. CMHVI offers open heart and cardiac angioplasty services to a population base of some 400,000 people in central and western Maine. As Central Maine Medical Center continues expanding its medical services, its mission remains unchanged: providing the best possible healthcare to the region's residents.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast pace custodial / housekeeping account with proven team building skill sets, proven proactive customer service, understanding of regulatory guidelines, maintain flexibility in work hours and be able to train/mentor/motivate hourly and management staff. Experience in Trakkar, Quality Improvement Programs,  Customer Service and  Bed Tracking are beneficial.  This manager will place a large focus on the patient experience, customer service and positively affecting patient satisfaction scores as well as patient throughput. This is a current Sodexo food service site. This is a 2nd shift position. (3- 11:30) 

The ideal candidate will also have strong client / employee relationship-building skills and possess the ability to manage direct reports, quickly grasp situations and logically progress through solutions, the ability to refine systems ensuring sustained effort of achieving standards, and follow through and visibility within the facility. 

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
