Sodexo is currently seeking a Telecom Expense Management Analyst who will be based in our Gaithersburg, MD office.

 

About this position:

  • Processing and invoice allocations for multiple vendor invoices representing over 1 million spend per month – with electronic file processing and validation and some manual invoice processing.
  • Ensuring the total invoices and allocations are matched with Inventory Load and System Procurement with final validation in Sodexo Unit Allocation System.
  • Tracking to ensure all payments are processed in the proper billing period/cycle and handling all bill inquiries: detailed investigation, communication with carriers, internal customers, follow-up on pending credits and allocating credits to unit.
  • Documenting and loading all new circuits in Rivermine software, validating the lines, type of charges and circuits, validating location service address and unit cost allocation.
  • Disconnecting service for closed unit and follow-up to ensure written confirmations from carriers and bill end dates.
  • Assist with statistical reporting, as needed.
  • Works independently under general supervision.
  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Are you the one?

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with expertise in Excel and Access (intermediate level).
  • Experience with Telecommunications Expense Management Software and familiarity with Telecom service offerings with emphasis on Wireline services.
  • Basic understanding of the Telecom Life Cycle.
  • Telecom technical and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to constantly changing telecom environment.
  • Ability to promote a client-focused culture that strives to exceed client needs, requirements and expectations – actively listening to concerns and requests – identifying expense issues and concerns with vendors and internal customers to provide solutions and resolve billing disputes.
  • Work is generally administrative or project oriented, but generally varied and unstructured in nature.
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical systematic approach to resolving telecom issues/service outages.
