Sodexo Corporate Services Segment is seeking a Conference Services Manager/Off-Site Meeting Planner for a large pharmaceutical company in Cambridge MA!
The Conference Services Manager/Off-Site Meeting Planner will be responsible for providing end to end meeting planning from initial client contact to final meeting budget reconciliation.
The ideal Conference Services Manager/Off-Site Meeting Planner must be highly organized and possess strong customer relations skills with the ability to handle multiple events for multi-level customers in a fast-paced environment; strong written and verbal communication skills required; attention to detail as all events have a high client standard expectation.
Some events could require travel with groups to events and early morning and/or late evening support.
Strong knowledge of MS Office.
Understanding of HCP (Heallth Care Provider) requirements is a plus.
Familiarity of CaterTrax a plus.
CVENT experience preferred.
This will office in the Cambridge MA, Bridgewater NJ or Swiftwater PA and work virtually 2-3 days a week and could include traveling overnight up to 25%.
This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year
