Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services (Operations Manager 3) for Boston Children’s Hospital, ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in the nation! This is a high profile, Sodexo Prestige account and a 400 bed teaching facility located in Boston, MA. This pediatric hospital has 400 beds and over 3.5 million cleanable square feet. This opportunity is managing a team of 35.
The successful candidate will participate in a rotational on call schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays. As this position equates to an Assistant Director level role at a small to mid-size account, overall you will be tasked with leading, developing, and growing a team of employees. Some responsibilities may include (but not limited to) on-going training, quality inspections, compliance, safety, and the implementation of Sodexo policies and procedures. Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level with an emphasis on client satisfaction at all times. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. The potential for travel is upto 40% within the area.
The ideal candidate will have prior management experience environmental services/custodial/housekeeping department with direct Manager reports and front-line staff from a healthcare/hotels environment. Individuals with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and technical skills are necessary. JCAHO experience is preferred. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities at once in a fast paced environment. Seeking individuals that want to make a difference in patient satisfaction, employee engagement and training. The ability to speak Spanish would be helpful managing this position, but is not required.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
