Nicholls State University is located in Thibodaux, Louisiana which is 55 mile Southwest of New Orleans, La. Sodexo and Nicholls State University have been partners for over 15 years and continue to have a great relationship. Sodexo will be opening a free-standing Chick Fil A on the campus of Nicholls State University. Sodexo manages 5 other cash operations, student dining, catering and concessions. Nicholls State University has a student population of approximately 6,500 sudents. 1,300 of those students live on campus. We are looking for an outstanding manager for our Chick Fil A operation. This candidate must have great customer service skills, great operational skills and the ability to develop and lead a team to meet the very high standards of Chick Fil A.

Are you the experienced Retail Manager we’re seeking?


We are looking for candidates who will manage:

  • frontline staff;
  • cash handing process;
  • department HACCP and safety programs for regulatory compliance;
  • frontline training programs;
  • opening and closing the operation; and
  • daily operation standards.


The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven client relationship skills
  • Successful customer service skills

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
