Sodexo is currently seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for CHI-Jewish Hospital. This acute care, 320 bed facility is located in Louisville, Ky. The ideal role is for someone who is passionate about patients, wellness and nutrition and one who is looking to bring a high level of expertise and leadership ability in a healthcare environment. The Patient Services Manager will help move our "At Your Request/Expressly for You" patient meal delivery system to the next level and will work closely with the Clinical Nutrition team which includes diet review, menu development, and day to day issues or needs.
The ideal candidate has experience working directly with patients and has a strong knowledge of nutrition in a healthcare environment. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated ability in team leadership and managing change to support the EFY or AYR patient meal program.
The Patient Services Manager 2 will be responsible for the overall operation of the patient tray line to include tray assessments, quality assurance, gold checks, meal rounds, scheduling and training and development of 60 employees.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in healthcare food service as well as knowledge and understanding of managing patient meal service. Reporting to the Sr. Area General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in managing a unit, training and developing a frontline staff and strong client relations.
Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietary Manager, Nutrition Degree sought.....all nutrition experience will be taken into consideration as well.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
