Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Services/ Custodial Manager 2 supporting a large public school district in in Fort Wayne, IN.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Facilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance and custodial cleaning in 13 schools, approximately 1 million Sq. Ft. and managing a custodial staff of 40-45 FTE’s. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conduct safety inspections and training ensuring safety procedures are implemented and documented;
  • Schedule employee’s hours, overtime and payroll;
  • Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards;
  • Manage budget / inventory supply tacking system.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be experienced a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in environmental services operation, custodial or housekeeping.
  • Must have at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong communications and a positive attitude.
