Sodexo Universities at Georgia Tech has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, Unit Marketing Coordinator to assist with marketing strategies for our dining program in Atlanta, GA. GT is a large state university with approximately 26,000 students and 3 community restaurants, has a large retail food operation and catering program. This individual will report to the Director of Marketing and will assist in marketing program development, implementation of Sodexo programs, communication and evaluation. Conducts market research and market analysis.  Designs, develops and refreshes communication strategies including web, digital, social media and print. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinates all unit marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth;
  • Coordinates unit specific strategic business plan/marketing plans and its implementation, communication and evaluation.  Will conduct meal plan presentations to parents and clients;
  • Maintains and tracks and research customer feedback and satisfaction and reviews statistics and trends with appropriate personnel;
  • Gather, track and analyze results of marketing initiatives;
  • Identifies needs and makes recommendations for increasing voluntary meal plan sales;
  • Implements Sodexo’s national, divisional and regional marketing initiatives;
  • Responsible for producing the month in reviews, client semester reports, implement the Proudly Sharing Sodexo’s Story Toolkit and gathering the key stories that showcase the successes at each account;
  • Identify and clarify internal/external customer needs and expectations, taking actions to ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met;
  • Maintain marketing information on internet, company, and/or client websites and digital strategies;
  • Gather information and data from various sources to determine customer problems and needs (i.e. Focus Groups, Comment Cards and Surveys);
  • Educate and develop rapport with internal/external customers and promote partnership by seeking feedback and responding to customer requests;
  • Promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs, requirements and expectations;
  • Prepare plans for projects or major assignments (i.e. Tasks, Resources and Time Frames);
  • Create monthly marketing calendar and newsletter;
  • Host events to engage student and employee participation;
  • Participate in marketing conference calls and training;
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; 
  • Ability to confidently present content live to large groups.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
