Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Production Manager 3 for Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.   The selected candidate will support the food production process along with the Executive Chef for the Cafe, Catering and patient room service program for a 900 bed hospital. The ideal candidate for this position will have a culinary/cooking background.


Responsibilities will include: 

  • Menu planning
  • Controlling food & labor cost
  • Inventory and purchasing
  • Ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Hands-on food preparation
  • Direct customer interaction
  • Supervision of client union hourly associates

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
