Sodexo has an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Chef 2 at a Corporate Services account in Washington, DC!
This position is for a premier upscale client. Responsibilities include overall preparation & presentation of food, menu development and execution, cost management, HR functions, training of production staff and overseeing the food safety program. Ideal Executive Chef Candidate will have exceptional communication skills, an eye for high end restaurant quality food, premium catering experience and a high level of organization. A strong focus in customer service, culinary expertise and attention to detail are key in our selection process.This position has full culinary oversight for retail and catering at one location, and will support catering at other locations.
The ideal candidate must be able to creatively execute catering menus, be personable with clients/guests, and be the owner of production with responsibility for ordering, inventory, HACCP and waste watch. This is a hands-on, working chef position and he/she will support the unit as needed. Seeking bi-lingual candidates; the ability to communicate in Spanish will assist in managing this workforce. This position requires use of a company vehicle and requires a valid Driver's License. A background check and drug screen is required for this position.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
