Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager/Chef Manager to join our team at Riverpark Office Complex in Norwalk CT. Sodexo has partnered with Riverpark for 15 years. This account has a Cafe with multiple stations, catering operations of 100K and pantry services. This Cafe is open M-F from 7:30am, to 2pm serving breakfast and lunch. This is a very hands-on position. The General Manager/Chef Manager must be a strong culinarian and produce high quality food. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, food ordering, preparation and storage. The General Manager/Chef Manager is the number 1 at the account and will also be responsible for overall financials for this fee account with a managed volume just under 1 million dollars. In addition, the General Manager/Chef Manager will be responsible for managing 5 hourly associates, cash management, safety and HACCP compliance. Ideal candidate will posses great customer service, ability to lead a team, attention to detail and ability to manage mulitiple priorities.
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
