Sodexo Leisure is looking for a highly energetic and hands-on Retail Manager 3 at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. Based in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, it is home to a world-class aquarium, planetarium, and natural history museum - all under one living roof.
The Retail Dining Manager is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our guests by motivating, training and developing the frontline and supervisory service staff. This key mgr will help grow our business, develop our staff and enhance the customer services provided to our valued visitors.
The ideal candidate must be able to simultaneously manage multiple points of sale in a high-volume retail cafe environment. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a high degree of accountability and strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience managing staff, cash controls & quick service/ concession outlets is expected.
The ability to speak Spanish &/or Mandarin Chinese would be helpful in managing the workforce at this location.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
