Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 for our premier client, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, California.  

 

The successful candidate will have direct oversight of a unit where Sodexo provides breakfast and lunch service to a building population of about 1400, as well as upscale catering. The Executive Chef will lead a small team of 10 frontline employees.

 

This position supports all facets of daily culinary catering production and retail as time allows, deployment of wellness strategies, and overseeing the development of kitchen employees. The best qualified candidate will have excellent leadership experience and a focus on safety and sanitation and quality and standards. 

 

We are looking for someone with great communication and training skills. This is a high-level culinary management role, but will also be hands-on as needed to support operations.

 

Responsibilities will include:  

  • Menu creation and food costing
  • Strong focus on high quality food presentation
  • All food production for catering 
  • Strong compliance with HACCP and Food SafetyOur ideal Executive Chef will be outgoing and enjoy being engaged with customer and clients.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
