We have a new career opportunity for an Operations Manager at our location in Los Angeles, California.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, our Operations Manager will direct the day to day operations of the food and nutrition services in a hospital. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing all aspects of the Food & Nutrition Services, including patient & retail dining.

 

Ideally, qualified candidates will have the following experience:

  • Prior management level experience in a Continuing Care Retirement Community environment.
  • Exceptional customer focus.
  • Proven leadership skills focused on innovation.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and ability to meet financial objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prior experience managing a food and nutrition department.
  • Solid record of achieving best in class customer satisfaction scores.
  • Experience with CMS and Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance requirements. Best qualified candidates for this position include Certified Dietary Manager certification (or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, etc).
  • Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to speak Spanish language will assist in managing this workforce.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
